CORE alumni
theILC core network begins at the University of Chicago, but it doesn't end there. Our organization values the exclusive network we create in both our personal and our professional lives.
Please email uchicago.ilc.ent@gmail.com if you would like to get in contact with any of our CORE alumni.
Karan Goel - founder
Karan founded theILC at the University of Chicago in 2003 with the sole purpose of creating a center of business.
His time at the club was centered around fostering new entrepreneural ideas. His approach was to find a problem and create a solution. His most successful project at theILC was the test-prep startup PrepMe.
PrepMe was the first test-prep program to utilize adaptive learning as its teaching model. The idea is simple, every student deserves a personalized learning experience. Their adaptive platform diagnoses each student's individual strengths and weaknesses and then creates an individualized study plan for him or her. As students study, the program adapts to them. At PrepMe, students maximize every minute of time they spend studying for their exams.
