structure

theILC believes in rewarding those who exhibit initiative, passion and commitment. Our club currently has three main levels of membership within our organization.

CORE leadership

As designed by our founder, the ultimate goal for any member is to become part of the exclusive CORE group.

More than a network of peers, the CORE represents a system of trust amongst its members in both the professional and personal realm. A common example of trust is the willingness of every core member to surrender the keys to their appartment to each other.

During the year, CORE members are primarily responsible for running the club as well as guiding the club to a continued strong future. Responsibilities include mentoring associates and analysts, providing feedback to presenters and fostering connections with other student organisations on campus and business leaders in the professional world.

CORE members are given their position by an unanimous vote amongst current CORE members as well as consent from CORE alumni to promote that member. The CORE philosophy is to preserve the quality of the network by seeking out strong leaders of tomorrow.

associates

Members on the associate level represent those on the possible fast track to becoming a CORE member. Associates are promoted from the analyst level for consistent high quality work in any division that they work in.

Most importantly, associates get their roles for understanding and living theILC culture.

Associates are given a range of rotating roles with regards to the logistic as well as innovative new projects of the club. These responsibilities are assigned to give each member the chance to sharpen as well as to exhibit their skills.

analysts

All entry level members are analysts. Since the range in skill-level of new members vary greatly, analysts are rewarded for both their ability to perform as well as their innitative to learn more.

Analysts are given many opportunties to show their innitative by signing up to give weekly presentations (ILC: IM), to write business proposals (ILC: E) or to research trading ideas (ILC: T) with the mentorship of the particular associates and CORE working with them any given week.
